I have been in the field of journalism for the past twelve years, and

have been based in Karachi, until 2010 when I shifted to Lahore. I have

been associated with Jang Group’s English daily The News International,

the Regional Times of Sindh, and am now currently working in Dawn

newspaper for the Lahore city pages. I am also a regular contributor

for cover stories for an Environment based magazine “Subh-e-Nau”, have

contributed to Pique, and have had my stories printed in Himaal

Southasia (Nepal), and Down To Earth (India). My areas of work are

Human Rights, Crime, Social Issues, (along with socio-political issues)

Health and Environment, Arts and Culture, etc. I am also an IVLP

fellow.
